
Ambassador Attahiru Haliru
Managing Director/CEO
Born on 20th of December 1960 in Dogondaji, Tambuwal Local Government Area of Sokoto State, Nigeria. He attended Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science in 1985.
Amb. Haliru joined the Nigeria’s Federal Civil Service as Foreign Service officer in 1987 and served meritoriously for 34 years. During his distinguished career in public service he served Nigeria in various capacities across different continents, including Africa, Asia, and North America
and held different positions in Nigerian Embassies and Consulates in Bagdad, Asmara, New York, Riyadh and Niamey. He was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Republic of Niger in 2017, by President
Muhammadu Buhari. At the end of his tenure in 2020, Amb Haliru was honoured by the then President of Niger, H.E Muhammadu ISSUFU with the prestigious medal of the “ORDRE DU MERITE DU NIGER COMMANDER” in recognition of his outstanding service to both Nigeria and Niger Republic. Ambassador Haliru is currently a consultant on security and diplomacy.

Muhammad Nasir Ladan, mni, mnipr

Born on 19th of October 1962, in Birnin kebbi, Kebbi state, Nigeria. He attended Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history in 1984. He later obtained a master’s degree in communications and technology from Brunel University in West London, in 1998 and is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Communication, at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi. Mr Ladan attended various conferences, seminars and study tours, both in Nigeria and abroad, including the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) in the United States in 2014 and the Senior Executive Course at the prestigious National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Jos, in 2017.
Officer II at the Ministry of Information, Sokoto. Barely a year and a half later, he was appointed the Press Secretary to the Governor of Sokoto State on 3 March 1987. He served as Press Secretary to four successive state governors in Sokoto and Kebbi States, between 1987 and 1992. In November 1992 he went on study leave for a master’s degree at Brunel University, in the United Kingdom. He later served as Chief Information Officer, Ministry of information Kebbi State, Director Publicity and Extension service, Family Economic Advancement Program (FEAP) Kebbi State Office and the National Human Rights Commission, where he served for twenty years and retired as Director in 2020. In his thirty-five years of public service with the government and at the National Human Rights Commission, Mr Ladan acquired considerable professional experience in communication, human rights advocacy and policy analysis. He is a member of both the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (mni) and the National Institute of Public Relations (mnipr) and currently the Director of Administration at the National Secretariat of the Alumni Association of the National Institute.

Aminu Muhammad WAKILI, mni
Director
Born 10th January 1962, Mr. WAKILI attended Ahmad Bello University, Zaria, where he Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. He is also a holder of a PostGraduate Diploma in Management and Master in Business Administration certificates both from Bayero University, Kano (1990 and 1994, respectively).
He also obtained a second Master Degree in International Security and
Diplomacy from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom, 2015. Mr. WAKILI
was a participant at the Senior Executive Course of the National Institute for
Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos from February 2018 to November,
2018 and was later admitted to the Membership of the National Institute (mni).
Mr. WAKILI, mni started his working career in 1986 with the defunct Nigeria
Airports Authority (NAA) now Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) as an
Aviation Security officer.
He later transferred his services to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja in 1995.
Mr. WAKILI, mni had served in various Nigerian Embassies notably Tunis, Tunisia,
Rome, Italy and Rabat, Morocco. He had in the course of his working career
attended many conferences and seminars both within and outside Nigeria.

Ambassador Lawan Abba Gashagar

Ambassador Gashagar started his working career in 1986 with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he served in various Nigerian Embassies notably Ndjamena, Chad, Tripoli, Libiya, Khartoum, Sudan and was appointed Ambassador to Cameroon in 2017, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Born on February 27, 1999, in BOkene, Kogi State, Nigeria. He
began his education at Saint Joseph Nursery and Primary School in Enyinare, Okene, Kogi State and later attended Ebira Community Secondary School in Etahi Okene Kogi State. Driven by his passion for technology, he went on to study Computer Science at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, where he graduated wi th a Bachelor of Technology degree in 2024.
